Typo spells out growth plan

Typo has signed at three intu shopping centres as part of its UK expansion

International stationery and gifting retailer Typo has launched three more UK stores at intu shopping centres. They include a 1,250-sq ft unit at intu Watford as part of the scheme’s 400,000-sq ft extension, a 935-sq ft unit at intu Merry Hill and a 1,114-sq ft store at intu Eldon Square.

The Australian brand began opening bricks-and-mortar stores in the UK in December 2016 and currently has eight across the country. There are a further 200 stores across 15 countries.

intu asset management director Julian Wilkinson said:: “intu’s portfolio of the most popular shopping destinations means we are well placed to help brands like Typo expand across the UK. Our investment in centres like intu Watford, intu Merry Hill and Eldon Square is clearly paying off with more and more brands selecting the centres as the right locations to thrive within new areas of the country.”
