Silverburn signs Khaadi for Scottish debut

Hammerson signs Pakistani clothing brand at Silverburn shopping centre, Glasgow

The brand is to open a 2,700-sq ft store next to Flannels and schuh. Khaadi, which means “hand-woven” in Urdu, offers a range of women’s clothing, bags and accessories. The new Silverburn store will be the seventh in the UK.
This news follows the recent opening of a significantly upsized store for leading sportswear retailer, JD Sports. The UK’s largest gym operator, PureGym, is also set to open an 11,302-sq ft gym adjacent to Silverburn’s 14-screen Cineworld cinema in the spring.
Iain Mitchell, UK COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR at Hammerson, said: “The brand’s unique offer is a great addition to the existing retail line-up and will ensure that we continue to provide the strong and varied tenant mix that Silverburn is renowned for.”
