The ICSC is holding its annual get-together in Copenhagen next month. Chaired by Søren Brogaard, managing director Denmark at Scandinavian owner and developer Steen and Strøm, the conference runs from April 26 to 28 and takes as its focus the debate on how to "Get value through design."
Presentations at the event include "The Hot 30" - retailers that have changed how we think about the sector and a talk by H&M head of design Margareta van den Bosch on "clothing the world." Predictions will also be made about which retailers will set the pace for the 21st century.
Brogaard said: "In some parts of Europe, the art of making a shopping centre a destination is still in its infancy. At the ICSC European Conference we will focus on what works and how the expansion of attractions and leisure activities within a shopping centres adds value.
