Hudon Lonestar sells Antonine centre in Cumbernauld

The Antonine centre in Cumbernauld has been sold to Bridges Ventures and Scoop Asset Management for c£15m. The scheme held long leasehold from the Local Authority with 164 years unexpired.

The 205,153-sq ft centre, built 10 years ago by London & Regional, comprises 42 retail units anchored by Dunnes with other key national multiple retailers including: Next, TK Maxx, Boots, JD Sports, Sports Direct, River Island and Poundworld.

Robin Coady of the vendor’s agent Coady Supple said: “In a challenging Scottish retail investment market we were delighted to identify Bridges Ventures and Scoop as a suitable buyer for the main town centre retail in Cumbernauld.”
