The Customer Experience – Beyond commercialisation

This session will focus on adding value to shopping centres and the changing face of customer expectations. Going beyond commercialisation this session will cover the new era of the food, beverage and leisure offer and how centres can learn from best practice, including some pop up case studies.

Marketing – How effective are you at measuring success?

With marketing budgets under pressure, do you really know how much value you are getting from your spend? Do you honestly know what return you are getting from your advertising and social media?
This session tackles the subject of marketing effectiveness head-on. It draws on the BCSC’s recent KPI study which highlights some surprising differences between how small and large centres evaluate their marketing success. Drawing on the findings from the recent BCSC study and its new Best Practice Marketing Guidelines, this session will highlight some invaluable recommendations on how best to evaluate retail marketing.

Technology – Retail’s digital future

Everyone loves talking about technology, but what does the future actually look like for physical retailing? As well as the technology that supports well established new shopping behaviour such as click and collect, there’s a host of new products, such as wearable technology, mapping and 3D printing, which could reshape the market place, affecting customers, retailers and property owners.
Hear from experts who contributed to a recent report by the same name which will cover emerging trends in depth and lay out legal considerations and broader business implications for how the retail and real estate sector will change.
