Neil Mitchenall: outstanding contribution |
Retail property legend Neil Mitchenall received the plaudits of the industry as he accepted the 2005 SCEPTRE Lifetime Achievement Award this month.
The SCEPTRE Awards dinner at London’s Dorchester Hotel on June 7 saw Mitchenall, managing director of Lunson Mitchenall, recognised for his outstanding contribution to the shopping centre industry.
Four hundred diners cheered as Lunson Mitchenall colleague Marcus Kilby presented the award to the former BCSC president.
A packed Dorchester Ballroom saw 10 other SCEPTREs presented as the awards, which recognise the best practice and the best people in the shopping centre industry, reached their fifth year in style.
Shopping Centre editor Pat Morgan said: “This was the best and biggest year yet for the SCEPTRE Awards in terms of nominations and attendance.
“Neil Mitchenall’s award was richly deserved, and we were delighted to recognise the talent and work of all the other winners and finalists.”
