Second Locker Room to open at Bullring
Published: 03 February, 2012
Hammerson has secured Footlocker’s second Locker Room store in the UK at Bullring. This follows the concept’s European launch at Brent Cross in November 2011.
The 6,000 sq ft store focuses on sports performance footwear, showcasing brands including Nike, Adidas and Asics. The first Locker Room store outside of London is expected to open in time for Easter trading at Bullring.
Locker Room will replace Clintons Cards, who are relocating to the former 3,200 sq ft Birthday’s unit.
Martin Plocica, Hammerson portfolio director said: “Bullring has a longstanding pedigree in securing emerging concepts and it’s fantastic to have attracted Locker Room.
“To be one of the top retail destinations we have to constantly evolve our tenant mix and adding a niche offer from a popular retailer helps satisfy consumers’ increasingly sophisticated appetite for new retail experiences.”
Cushman & Wakefield and Bidwell, Webber, De Pons acted on behalf of Hammerson and Brasier Freith acted on behalf of Foot Locker.
