Welsh jewellery brand Clogau Gold has launched into the English outlet market with the opening of a 454 sq ft store at McArthurGlen’s Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet.
After the success of Clogau Gold’s first ever outlet store at McArthurGlen’s Bridgend Designer Outlet, near Cardiff, the Welsh jewellery brand has chosen McArthurGlen’s Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet for the location of their first English outlet store.
Clogau Gold will offer consumers up to 60 per cent off its unique gold jewellery which uses gold from the Clogau St. David’s mine in Snowdownia. The mine closed in 1998, and no gold mining takes place in Wales today, making Welsh gold among the rarest in the world.
Mark Schofield, deputy centre manager at McArthurGlen Cheshire Oaks, said: “Clogau Gold will further strengthen McArthurGlen’s Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet’s portfolio of distinguished jewellery brands such as Links of London, Pilgrim and Tag Heuer. With the new addition of Clogau Gold situated between Fiorelli and Pilgrim, McArthurGlen’s Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet is increasingly becoming a prime retail environment for jewellery and accessories brands.”
