Six new signings at Highcross

Highcross, Leicester’s principal shopping and leisure destination, enters the Christmas season with over 12,000 sq ft of new retailers signed up to the shopping centre

The million-sq ft mixed-use schem, owned by Hammerson and Royal Mail Pension Plan, has added six new brands to its line up over the last few months.
North Face is opening its first standalone store in the city taking a 2,760-sq ft unit. Independent menswear boutique Luke 1977 is opening a flagship 2,180-sq ft store.
Complementing the enhanced fashion offer is entertainment brand Sony, opening its first store in Leicester with a 1,680-sq ft unit, fine art stockist Whitewall Galleries with a1,720-sq ft store, family favourite Build A Bear which has taken 2,760 sq ft of space and completing the latest round of lettings is Greggs with a 900-sq ft unit.
Sheila King, Hammerson’s group retail leasing director, said: “These new brands provide real strength in depth across our retail mix at Highcross, offering specialist fashion retailing, high end entertainment and fine art to our consumers.”
