YO! Sushi opens its doors at Bon Accord

Published:  21 December, 2011

The Japanese-themed restaurant YO! Sushi opened at Aberdeen’s Bon Accord & St Nicholas centre on December 19, completing the shopping destination’s £8m refurbishment.

The sushi restaurant has signed a 15 year lease, on a 2,094 sq ft unit.

YO! Sushi joins Di Maggio’s, Pret a Manger and Café Rouge – all of which opened in November and have exceeded sales targets - in the stylish new restaurant terrace on the upper level of the Bon Accord centre.

Speaking on behalf of the partnership, Katherine Armstead of Land Securities said: “YO! Sushi’s arrival means our new food terrace is complete and YO! Sushi is the perfect complement to our other new restaurants - which are all going down a treat with shoppers. This is the final piece in our £8m refurbishment, and the centre is looking fantastic.”

The new letting follows the launch of a 20,000 sq ft H&M in the summer as well as the opening of Ollie & Nic and Chisholm Hunter.

Eric Young & Co represented SRPLP while Lunson Mitchenall represented YO! Sushi.
