Around 2,000 fans and shoppers gathered at The Liberty Centre in Romford in the run up to the X Factor final to see then favourites and eventual winners Little Mix and mentor and judge, Tulisa from N-Dubz.
The event, caught on camera by the X Factor film crew, was band member Jesy Nelson’s home town visit and formed part of the series’ final episodes.
The girl band signed autographs and enjoyed a VIP family event in the recently-opened Pandora store.
“Not only is The Liberty in the physical heart of the Romford but it has a long history of promoting both music and musicians,” said centre marketing and PR manager Susan Williamson. “We were delighted to help welcome Jesy back and she and her fellow singers had a great evening both meeting the fans and then meeting family in the Pandora store. It was great to watch them go on to victory.”
The Liberty, which features more than 100 stores, is anchored by Bhs, Debenhams, M&S, Primark and River Island. The 460,000 sq ft centre also features a Little Mix shopping destination favourite – Topshop.
