Wereldhave Property Management has appointed John Grinnell as the new centre manager at the Dolphin Centre in Poole.

John brings almost a decade’s experience in retail and has joined from The Shires shopping centre in Trowbridge, Wiltshire.

John has been tasked with increasing awareness of the Dolphin Centre on a local level, developing its online presence, raising awareness of its new branding and driving footfall to the centre.

Andrew Turton, managing director of Wereldhave Property Management, said: “John’s appointment marks an exciting time for Poole as we continue to review and enhance our plans for the centre.

“We have extended a warm welcome to John and are looking forward to working with him as we explore the ways we can invest and improve this well-located town centre, meeting the needs of those who live and shop in Poole.”

Wereldhave bought the shopping centre at the end of 2010 before purchasing Falkland Square for £10.325m from AXA earlier this summer. Also known as the Towngate Centre, the property adjoins the Dolphin Centre.
