New centre director at the Mander Centre

DTZ has appointed Nicholas Pitt as centre director for the Mander Centre in Wolverhampton.

Nicholas will be responsible for raising the profile of the centre and Wolverhampton as a shopping destination and working with retailers to drive footfall and increase dwell time.

Nicholas joins from The Darwin, Pride Hill and Riverside shopping centres in Shrewsbury where he was centre director. Whilst there, he held a number of other positions including, vice-chair of the Shrewsbury Chamber of Commerce and previously managed The Fort Shopping Park in Birmingham.

Nicholas takes over from interim centre director, Arnold Wilcox-Wood.

Nicholas Pitt added: “I am looking forward to working with retailers and business partners at the Mander Centre to help make it one of ‘the’ retail destinations in the region.”

DTZ was appointed to manage the Mander Centre on behalf of the owners, Delancey earlier this year.
