Home Bargains stores has signed a double deal at Realm's Freeport Fleetwood and Freeport Talke.

Home Bargains has taken 7,500 sq ft at Fleetwood and 16,000 sq ft at Talke. The lettings are part of a strategy by manager Realm to broaden the outlet centres' appeal and initial figures have been very promising with the centres recording some of the highest footfall in their history.

Andrew Duncan, Realm's head of marketing and communications, said: “It is predicted that the traditional pattern of visiting an outlet centre once a quarter may now become far more frequent at these centres now that groceries and consumables have been added to the product mix on offer.”
