Two Yorkshire retail parks fully let

Ravensthorpe shopping park in Ravensthorpe and Northside retail park in Leeds are both now fully let
Errigal Developments has let Unit 6 a, b and c at Ravensthorpe shopping park to Pacific Retail , trading as Motorworld, and Barnardos. The cycle and motor store will pay £25,000pa for a unit totalling 2,000 sq ft. Barnardos has taken a store totalling 1,000 sq ft and will pay £18,500pa. Both retailers have agreed new 10-year leases.
Unilever Pension Fund Trustees has let units 2a, 2c and 7 at Northside Retail Park to Barnardos, Frozen Value, and Sue Ryder respectively. Barnardos has taken a store totalling 1,000 sq ft and will pay £22,500pa. Frozen Value, trading as Jack Fulton, will pay £42,000pa on new store totalling 2,800 sq ft. Lastly, charity Sue Ryder has taken a store totalling 3,835 sq ft and will pay £49,855pa. All three retailers have agreed new 10-year leases.
Steve Henderson, retail director at Savills and letting agent on both parks, said: “The successful lettings at these parks illustrate the strength of the local out of town markets and its appeal to a wide range of retailers. These new stores will complement the existing tenant mix at both schemes and help to attract new customers thereby boosting footfall. Although the retail parks are now fully let, we are proactively looking at further asset management opportunities to accommodate the demand from additional retailers.”
