Published: 16 November, 2011
Cath Kidston has become the latest addition to the line-up at Christopher Place, meaning the 86,179-sq ft scheme is fully let
Owned by Hermes Property Unit Trust, Christopher Place has 30 units. The latest arrival, Cath Kidston, has signed a 10-year lease and joins other high-end retailers including Space NK, JoJo Maman Bebe, Neal’s Yard Remedies, Whistles and Hobbs.
Occupying the 1,600-sq ft ground floor of unit 4, Cath Kidston will be located below The White Company, which expanded its presence at Christopher Place earlier this year and committed to a further 10-year lease.
Asset manager Ben Tolhurst said: “Christopher Place is a key HPUT asset that has performed very well since its acquisition. Recent figures demonstrate a close to 40 per cent uplift in footfall year on year. We continue to invest in the Centre, rolling out a new brand, refurbishing the car park and introducing commercialisation initiatives including social media engagement, marketing and events to appeal to both tenants and customers alike.”
Nash Bond and MMX Retail acted on behalf of Hermes Property Unit Trust at Christopher Place and CBRE acted on behalf of Cath Kidston. The White Company were advised by their retained retail advisors twentyretail.
