Trio of lettings at Trinity Walk

Published:  14 November, 2011

Three more retailers have signed up for units at the 500,000 sq ft Trinity Walk shopping centre in Wakefield – taking a total of nearly 6,000 sq ft.

Handmade cosmetics retailer Lush and fashion store Infinities have taken 1,475 sq ft and 2,422 sq ft units respectively, at the Teall Street entrance – where the centre links directly into the city centre.

Meanwhile, Yorkshire china and gift chain Peter Jones has taken a 2,015 sq ft unit facing Argos and overlooking the centre’s 1,000-space shopper car park.

These have been supplemented by a number of openings over the last few weeks that have included La Senza, Superdrug, Jack & Jones, West Coast and Hype as well as Esquires Coffee House.  H Samuel, Barclays and Handmade Burger Company are due to open in the coming months.

Max La Frenais, leasing director at Sovereign Land, joint developer and development manager of Trinity Walk, said: “We are delighted to announce these new retailers joining the centre’s line-up. They are great additions and will enhance the centre’s diverse retail offer. Since opening, Trinity Walk has sustained a very strong level of performance, which has encouraged great competition from retailers looking to occupy the few remaining units across the centre.”

Letting agents for Trinity Walk are Lunson Mitchenall and Angermann Goddard & Loyd.

Agents acting on behalf of the new tenants were: GVA Grimley for Lush, Francis & Co for Peter Jones and Tushingham Moore for Infinities.
