Simply Be makes out-of-town debut at Teesside

Simply Be has taken a 5,849-sq ft unit at British Land’s 410,00-sq ft Teesside Shopping Park in Stockton-on-Tees

The Stockton site is the first and only out-of-town store the online and mail order brand owned by catalogue giant N Brown, will be taking as part of a seven-strong –multi-channel trial.
As well as celebrating its 20th birthday in October, the park has also recently seen the opening of a 17,700 sq ft H&M store and a 6,000 sq ft extension to the Marks & Spencer unit, which will open in time for Christmas.
John Maddison, Asset Manager for Teesside Shopping Park, said: The scheme’s strong trading profile makes it an obvious choice for pilot stores and we are always delighted to work with potential new entrants to the out-of-town market.”
