Di Maggio’s, Pret a Manger and Café Rouge sign for their first Aberdeen outlets at Bon Accord
Aberdeen’s Bon Accord shopping centre is opening its new food terrace this month with three new food brands arriving in the city for the first time.
The new food openings are among the final stages in an Ł8m improvement programme for the centre, instigated earlier this year by landlord Scottish Retail Property Limited Partnership, a joint venture between Land Securities and BritishLand.
Di Maggio’s has confirmed a 15-year lease on a 4,196-sq ft unit; Pret a Manger has taken a 10-year lease on a 2,766-sq ft unit; and Café Rouge has agreed a 10-year lease on a 2,418-sq ft unit.
Katherine Armstead of Land Securities said the opening of the three popular brands will be a great addition to Bon Accord & St Nicholas, which are Aberdeen shoppers’ favourite and most frequently-shopped centres.“These lettings further strengthen our offering in Aberdeen, and will give customers a stylish and modern environment in which to enjoy a meal or a glass of wine while visiting the centre.”
The new food offerings follow on from a series of new openings this summer, including the launch of a 20,000-sq ft H&M, accessories brand Ollie & Nic and jewellers Chisholm Hunter – reinforcing the centre’s place as Aberdeen’s retail destination of choice.
FG Burnett and Cushman & Wakefield represented SRPLP while CBRE represented Dimaggio’s and Pret a Manger.
