L&G signs Odeon in Trowbridge

Legal & General Property has signed Odean as the anchor tenant for its proposed St Stephens Place leisure park in Trowbridge
L&G owns the adjacent Castle Place shopping centre in Trowbridge, and in addition to the new eight screen Odeoan digital cinema, the proposals also include seven family restaurants, cafes, sandwich shops, bars and an 80 bed hotel on the former Tesco store site.
Odeon is the number one cinema chain across the UK and Ireland and operates a total of 894 screens at 113 sites across the UK & Ireland.
Simon Russian, head of retail development at Legal & General Property, said: “Odeon’s commitment to Trowbridge underlines our belief that we can deliver an exciting new leisure destination for local people. We hope Trowbridge residents will back our plans at our consultation event.”
