Land Securities has let more than 7,000 sq ft of retail space to six new retailers at its Scottish shopping destination The Centre, Livingston

Men’s fashion brand Jack & Jones has taken 2,232sq ft on ground floor with 752sq ft of basement storage space; nail salon Diva Nails has taken 245 sq ft, delicatessen Berits & Brown 1,608sq ft; shoe repair specialist Timpson 1,358 sq ft and window blind manufacturer Shades 275 sq ft, all on 10-year leases. And clothing retailer Denim Depot has signed a one-year deal on 2,416 sq ft.
The deals come on the back of the recent opening of Superdry in the centre and Katherine Armstead, portfolio manager for Scotland, said: “The Centre offers a huge variety of choice for shoppers, with 155 stores and catering outlets giving a strong and diverse offering within easy reach of Glasgow and Edinburgh.
“The addition of yet more new names not only adds even more choice, it’s also a sign of retailers’ continued confidence in our Livingston shopping centre as a destination."
Montagu Evans represented Land Securities and Sutherland Brown represented Shades.
