The City of London’s One New Change, is set to start its week-long first birthday celebrations, including two performances from members of the Jersey Boys cast.

On Friday 28 October, members of the original West End cast of Jersey Boys will bring some 1960s rock ’n’ roll glamour to the Square Mile, with two performances of “Songs from the Jersey Boys”.

Searcys Champagne Bar will be providing complimentary champagne during the shows for donations to The Prince’s Trust, One New Change’s charity partner. And Bea's of Bloomsbury will be providing the first 100 attendees at each show with a birthday cupcake.

One New Change has also partnered with Grazia and GQ to host a number of fashion shows on its stunning roof terrace. In aid of The Prince’s Trust the shows will be taking place on 26 October (Grazia Women’s Wear) & 27 October (GQ Men’s Wear) and will feature the latest winter trends. All guests will enjoy special offers from the brands featured in the shows, a glass of fizz courtesy of Madison Restaurant and a goody bag worth £50.

As well as being a destination for retail and fashion, One New Change is also putting on a series of cultural events throughout its birthday celebrations. From Wednesday 26th October until Sunday 30th October, One New Change will be hosting an exhibition in association with the Museum of London which will unveil interesting artefacts that have been discovered beneath One New Change and some of its neighbouring City landmarks. The artefacts include ceramics, glass and leather from the Roman, Medieval and Tudor periods.

The week of celebrations will be rounded off with a haunting Halloween weekend. On Sunday 30 October, children and adults are invited to join a magical Halloween event for all the family with The House of Fairy Tales, established by artists Deborah Curtis and Gavin Turk.

Centre director, Robert Goodman, said: “It’s been a fantastic first year for One New Change and our planned celebrations reflect One New Change’s emergence as the City of London’s hotspot for music, fashion, retail and culture. It promises to be an action packed week.”
