Urban Outfitters chooses Meadowhall

Urban Outfitters will be opening an 11,000 sq ft unit at Meadowhall in time for Easter 2012.
The store, taken on a 15 year lease, will be located in the Park Lane mall, joining a number of new names including FR by Fashion Rocks and independent designer retailer Van Mildert.
Claire Barber, British Land’s asset manager for Meadowhall said: “We are very excited to welcome popular retailer Urban Outfitters to Meadowhall; the brand will be a strong addition to the current retail offer and will further grow our fashion credentials. This store highlights the attractiveness of Meadowhall and its appeal as a thriving retail destination.”
The news follows details of the £7m Oasis food court redevelopment, due to complete in October 2011, which will transform the area into a sleek and contemporary 61,000 ft Oasis Dining Quarter.
