The great student giveaway returns to Manchester Arndale

As thousands of new and returning students pour into Manchester city centre at the start of Freshers’ Week, Manchester Arndale is gearing up to host The Great Student Giveaway.
For one night only on Tuesday 4 October between 5-9pm, Manchester Arndale will be combining over 103 special offers, discounts and promotions from its retailers.
The first 1,000 students who register early on the website will receive a free £5 gift card to get them spending on the night and there will also be free McDonalds food vouchers, goodie bags and special 30 per cent off offers to spend in a wide selection of the centre’s 240 stores.
Radio 1 DJ Aled Hayden Jones from The Chris Moyles Show and the Sunday Surgery will be mixing-up the latest tunes, plus MTV presenter Jon Franks will be acting as the celebrity MC to get the crowd excited. With other entertainment from X Factor contestants Parade, The Mend and Britt Love.

Wilkinson will be staging a ‘Duvet Challenge’ for the chance to win £500 worth of Wilkinson vouchers and Topshop will be encouraging fans to play a bespoke fashion-themed smartphone app completing challenges and earning rewards and exclusive offers. Rewards include a 20% discount and entry to win a £500 shopping spree.
