Treaty Centre manager set to walk 190 miles for charity

During October, Robin Arbenz, centre manager of the Treaty Centre in Hounslow will be walking coast to coast across the breadth of the country from the Irish Sea in the west to the North Sea in the east.
The 190 mile trek, in aid of Pancreatic Cancer UK, will take Robin across some of England’s most challenging terrain including the Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales and the North Yorkshire Moors.
Robin is keen to raise awareness of the charity, since his wife Vivien underwent surgery and chemotherapy for the disease last year.
“Pancreatic cancer has the worst survival rates for any cancer and 82 per cent of those currently diagnosed die within one year,” Robin said. “We need to help change this by achieving a high priority for the disease and supporting vital research required to help beat this most deadliest of cancers.”
Robin also aims lobby for improved support for patients and their families.
