Danish jewellery retailer Pandora has taken two units at the Brunel Centre, Swindon and Cabot Circus, Bristol.

At the Brunel Centre, Pandora have acquired a sub lease from New Look on a 1.350 sq ft unit.

Stephen Kane & Company negotiated a capital contribution and nine-month rent-free period for the existing lease. Pandora is paying £130,000 per annum for the unit located close to Topshop, BhS, River Island and Republic.

At Cabot Circus, Pandora have signed for a 1,400 sq ft unit close to next, House of Fraser, H&M and Espirit, at a base rent of £100,000 per annum.

Stephen Kane, principal of Stephen Kane & Company, said: “We are continuing to search for the right high-profile locations primarily in shopping malls or well-trafficked retail destinations.”

Pandora was founded in 1982 by Per and Winnie Enevoldsen in Copenhagen.  The jewellery, comprising a range of more than 800 handcrafted charms, is now sold in more than 20 countries.

The deals are the latest in an on-going expansion programme that has seen the Danish jewellery retailer establish a strong brand presence in the UK following its flotation on the Copenhagen stock exchange last year.

Stephen Kane & Company acted on behalf of Pandora. New Look Retailers Limited was represented by CBRE while Brunel Centre landlord The CIT Group was represented by Capital Retail. Cabot Circus landlord Bristol Alliance were represented by CBRE and DTZ.
