TK Maxx signs at Golden Square

TK Maxx will open a store at Golden Square shopping centre inWarringtonat the end of September

The discount fashion and homewares retailer has signed a 20-year lease on a 20,400-sq ft unit at the mall at £315,000 pa. It will relocate from the nearby Cockhedge Centre

The unit was previously occupied by Sports Direct, which is moving into a 9,400-sq ft unit in the centre. Other lettings atGolden Squarethis year include Jack & Jones, Internacionale and Bijou Brigette, with three other leases in solicitors' hands.

Lend Lease was advised by Jones Lang LaSalle and Tushingham Moore. TK Maxx was represented by Morgan Williams.
