The Moyallen-owned centre continues to attract retailer interest and has become the latest home for Tiger, the Danish home and office accessories chain that operates over 60 stores in the UK and across Europe. Tiger has recently opened a 2,624-sq ft store in The Peacocks centre on a 10-year lease.
Other August openings at The Peacocks include the UK’s first and fastest growing fish foot spa, Appyfeet trading from a 929-sq ft store on a five-year lease and Greggs has joined the Food Court line up in a 620-sq ft unit on a 10-year lease.
Additional new names opening this year at The Peacocks include toys, gifts and gadgets operator Hawkins Bazaar, men’s fashion retailer Blue Inc and handbag and luggage specialist, Charlotte Reid.
Tim Keeping, director of shopping centres at Woking Town Centre Management said: “The Tiger, Appyfeet and Greggs openings have added a fresh new dynamic to The Peacocks offer and they are all proving to be highly popular with our shoppers. With over 15 million shoppers coming into Woking town centre annually, we will continue to ensure that the shopping and leisure experience we offer at both The Peacocks and Wolsey Place continues to be wide ranging, exciting and entertaining for all our visitors.”
