GVA boosts FM business

GVA’s facilities management arm has bought Acuity Holdings and Acuity Management Solutions from British Land's Broadgate Estates

The company provides occupier-focused facilities management, project management and consultancy services to a range of companies throughout the UK, generating turnover of £14.5m in its last financial year.

GVA says the deal will enable it to provide a “holistic” facilities management offer, incorporating landlords, occupiers and fund-based projects and Steve Lee, managing director of GVA FM, said: “This acquisition confirms our intent to grow GVA FM into a leading multidisciplinary support services company and the scale of this transaction marks a significant milestone on this journey.”

The Acuity team, led by Tony Burchett, will continue to work with its existing clients and most of the 70 staff will remain based in their existing locations, with a team of 20 relocating from Broadgate to GVA’s London HQ.
