Hat-trick of deals in Hayes

Henderson UK Property Unit Trust has let three units at Hayes Bridge Retail Park to Argos, Next and Paul Simon on behalf of the New Star Property Unit Trust.

Argos has agreed a new 15 year lease on a unit totalling 10,017 sq ft and will pay £150,255 per annum.

Trading as Next Home, the homeware retailer will pay £141,750 per annum on a new 10 year lease for a unit totalling 9,450 sq ft.

Home furnishings retailer Paul Simon has taken a unit totalling 8,000 sq ft on a new 15 year lease and will pay £144,000 per annum.

Adam Stone, portfolio manager at Henderson Global Investors, said: “The park already boasts a strong tenant line-up and these new lettings will be the perfect complement and further diversify the retail offer and help to drive footfall.”

Next Group was represented by Montagu Evans. Paul Simon and Argos were not represented. Henderson was represented by Savills and Harvey Spack Field.
