British Land upgrades Nottingham catering offer

British Land has doubled the catering offer at Giltbrook Retail Park, Nottingham, with the introduction of Pizza Express and Nando’s.
In a specially-created new space that opens in spring 2012, both brands are taking 3,000 sq ft. They will trade alongside Frankie and Benny’s, Starbucks and Subway.
Simon Meacock, asset manager for British Land said: “Through research ,British Land established a need for additional catering brands at Giltbrook. This insight was matched to our close working relationships with a number of leading operators, resulting in Nando’s and Pizza Express joining our impressive retail line-up. Their arrival reflects the growing recognition amongst brands that retail parks represent a significant opportunity for expansion.”
