Trinity Walk agrees three new lettings

Superdrug, Handmade Burger Company and Barclays are the latest to sign in Wakefield scheme, which has attracted more than 2 million visitors since opening in May
Superdrug will occupy a 5,788-sq ft unit next toRiverIsland, on the centre’s main shopping mall, whilst Barclays has taken a 6,846-sq ft unit alongTeall Way, which links directly to the rest of the town’s shopping.
Expanding the scheme’s catering offer further on Grammar Square, right at the heart of the scheme, the Handmade Burger Company has signed up for its first restaurant in the area - for a 3,000-sq ft unit adjacent to Pizza Express.
Trinity Walk – developed by a consortium comprising AREA Property Partners,SovereignLandand Shepherd Construction – was the first new shopping centre to emerge from the economic downturn.
Since opening on 6 May, the centre has proved to be a highly attractive to retailers and was approximately 90% let on opening including the scheme’s anchors, Sainsbury’s and Debenhams, as well as a host of other top retailers including H&M, Next, River Island, Topshop, Topman, New Look, Republic, Bank, Argos and Game.
