Stormtroopers march the mall at Manchester Arndale

Star Wars’ Stormtroopers were spotted walking the mall along with Indiana Jones at Manchester Arndale on Saturday.
Young and old alike were surprised to see the rather unexpected ‘space invaders’ roaming around the shopping centre but were happy to pose for photographs.
The visitors were part of a promotional tour for the sci-fi and fantasy convention MCM Expo which is coming to Manchester for the first time on 30th July. Fans are expected to descend upon the city for the popular show, which has already been hosted in London and Birmingham.
