Andrew Parkinson to leave Bluewater

Published:  08 July, 2011

Lend Lease today announced that Bluewater’s general manager, Andrew Parkinson, is to leave Bluewater to become Liverpool Football Club’s first-ever operations director.

He will take up the new position on September 5.

Andrew has been Bluewater’s general manager since 2007, having originally joined Bluewater in 2003 as retail business manager.

Mark Boor, head of asset management at Lend Lease, said: “Andrew has been part of a very successful team and he has helped to deliver great success at Bluewater, and I am certain that he will achieve the same at Liverpool Football Club.

“The search for Bluewater’s new general manager, however, has already begun and we will be considering both internal and external candidates.  We are looking for someone with a special blend of skills, experience and charisma to lead Bluewater, which remains an international frame of reference and continues to go from strength-to-strength.”
