Miami-based lingerie brand Baci is to launch its first UK store at St David’s Cardiff
Baci Lingerie will take a store in Cathedral Walk trading from 1,023 sq ft, close to The Perfume Shop and new health and beauty retailer E-Cosway which opened last month. It will be the first of 50 stores planned for the brand across the UK.
The arrival of Baci Lingerie follows the opening of Boux Avenue in April which also chose St David’s for one of its debut stores, and Calvin Klein Underwear which opened in the centre in March.
Baci announced in February that it was to open in the UK and had partnered with distribution partner ABS to establish Baci Lingerie UK.
Joanne Skilton, retail and leasing director of CSC London, on behalf of St David’s Partnership, the joint venture between CSC and Land Securities said: “Underwear is a category that trades particularly well at St David’s Cardiff. We are delighted to welcome yet another new retailer to Cardiff especially as they are using St David’s as their UK launch site.”
Baci joins a quality lingerie line-up that as well as Boux Avenue includes specialist retailers La Senza and Leia, alongside M&S and John Lewis who both also offer an extensive underwear range.
E J Hales, Lunson Mitchenall and Cushman & Wakefield are the letting agents for St David’s. Baci Lingerie represented itself.
