Hobbycraft joins British Land retail parks

Hobbycraft’s new concept store joins British Land owned Nugent shopping park in Orpington and The Beehive Centre in Cambridge.

Well-known arts and crafts superstore, Hobbycraft showcases its first new store concept at Orpington’s shopping park. The newly opened space totalling 14,750 sq ft, includes a purpose built 5,700 sq ft mezzanine level. Whilst Cambridge Beehive Centre store, due to open Autumn 2011, will boast a 4,500 sq ft mezzanine and 7,300 sq ft ground floor.

The recent addition of Hobbycraft, the first national retailer to cater for more than 250 different activities under one roof, will provide a vibrant offer to both the Orpington and Cambridge assets alongside the current brands.

Dan Clark, British Land asset manager, Nugent shopping park said: “We are pleased Hobbycraft has chosen our Orpington asset to launch their brand new look superstore. It will be a great addition to the current tenant mix, appealing to all of our visitors.”
