West End meets Cardinal Place

London’s Cardinal Place shopping centre is treating shoppers to two free performances from West End stars.
On Wednesday 15th June, cast members from Wicked and Billy Elliot will descend on the roof garden at Cardinal Place, giving shoppers, local workers and tourists the chance to sing-a-long to much loved classics from two of Britain’s most renowned musicals. This one-off sneak preview is being hosted to mark the start of the annual West End Live weekend which will hit Trafalgar Square over the weekend of 18th–19th June.
The Gleeks, Britain’s answer to the hit US TV series Glee, will also be adding their own unique brand of musical madness to the lunchtime singing sessions. And The West End Gospel Choir will be on hand to keep energy levels up.
Martha Carson, head of marketing, Land Securities London Portfolio,
said: “We are delighted to host the West End Live Preview at Cardinal Place for a second year running, following it’s huge success last year.
“Land Securities has an ongoing commitment to showcase the cultural life of London and we hope that families and workers across the capital will come and enjoy this free lunchtime performance from some of our most loved West End musicals.”
