BCSC chooses four purple apple winners

Four full purple apple awards were handed out at the annual BCSC marketing awards

The awards dinner at The Brewery in London saw 29 marketing campaigns recognised with either Purple Apples, Merits or Pips.

This year’s Purple Apple winners were: Brent Cross, London for ‘Love Football Love Fashion’ in the Events category; Lakeside Shopping Centre for ‘Lakeside’s Living Christmas Fairy’; Westfield London for the ‘Rhianna Christmas Light Switch On Campaign’ and Meadowhall Centre, Sheffield for ‘Cut Through’ – all three in the Public/Media Relations category.

Westfield London also won two Purple Apple Merits for its ‘Digital SEO Campaign’ and ‘Car Boot Fair – Autumn Winter 2010 Fashion Event’. Bluewater secured two Merits for ‘The Learning Shop, Bluewater’ in the Community Relations category and for ‘There’s no stopping Bluewater’ in the Public/Media Relations Category. One New Change won two Merits for its ‘One New Change – One New Experience’ campaign in both the Public/Media Relations and Strategic/Overall Marketing categories.

Talent Week Awards were presented to The Brewery, Romford and Golden Square Shopping Centre, Warrington. BCSC’s Talent Week ran in October 2010 and was designed to find an accessible way for young people to showcase their talent within their local community, and access pathways to learning, skills development and career advice.
