Dundrum Town Centre in Dublin has announced that 300 new full and part time jobs will be created at the centre, bringing the employee population to 6,000.
Among the developments prompting the recruitment drive is the much-anticipated July opening of Hollister – its first store in the Republic of Ireland. Also opening is pan-Asian food chain Wagamama.
The Port House restaurant is set to double in size just six months after opening and Pink Beauty Emporium will treble in size.
Other new retailers to join in 2011 include Bella Baby, Giddy Studios and Rainbow Ice Cream.
Dundrum Town Centre director Don Nugent said: “These six new additions will further strengthen the strong mix of retail and leisure that is available at the centre offering even greater choice to our customers.”
Since its opened in March 2005, Dundrum Town Centre has welcomed over 100 million visitors. It is host to a range of leisure facilities including a 12-screen cinema, 200-seat theatre, adult education rooms, a citizen information centre and a radio station.
Retail spend at the centre continues to perform ahead of the national average.
