Schroders appoints head of UK retail property

Schroder Property has appointed of Nick Scott to take responsibility for retail transactions and asset management for the Schroder Exempt Property Unit Trust

Scott joins from NewRiver Retail. He brings with him over 20 years of focused retail experience across both the occupational and investment markets. He spent over 10 years at Parkridge Developments where he was director of investment and development with specific emphasis on the retail sector.

Ian Mason, head of UK property fund management and fund manager of SEPUT said: "Nick will take a prominent role in the management of our flagship £1.2bn UK property fund. With over a quarter of the fund's assets invested across the retail sectors, his extensive experience will help us continue to build on SEPUT's outperformance over the last 18 months."
