Amano launches rental option at Parkex

Thought to be a first in the parking industry, Amano has launched a new fully funded rental offering at parking exhibition Parkex- on this week at the NEC in Birmingham - allowing car park operators to see profits from day one of installation.
Unlike traditional leases, which are often financed through a third party, Amano is offering clients the latest in parking technology fully funded with supply, installation, maintenance and a lifetime of support from Amano’s technical team wrapped into a quarterly rental charge.
The Amano team aims to create a new level of partnership with customers through this simpler ‘one on one’ relationship, as Paul Richardson, director of parking at Amano explained: “We’ve redesigned our rental offering to remove the need for capital outlay or a third party financier and put the customer back in control.
“Under traditional leases if something requires repair the downtime may be losing the customer money, or disrupting secure parking arrangements, while charges from the finance company continue unabated. But receiving the product and the finance from the same source, Amano, gives the customer greater leverage; we know that if the product isn’t working we won’t get paid, so it’s in our interests to make sure the system is always performing as it should.
“When weighing up the choice between purchase or rental, car park operators have often been caught between a rock and a hard place; expensive investments are hard to justify and third party finance can leave you paying for equipment that’s depreciating in value or being surpassed by the latest advances. Amano’s rental offering removes those risks, so that we can focus on quality service and support.”
