Centre Radio creates a Buzz

Published:  28 March, 2011

Centre Buzz is a new social media service from Centre Radio which creates an instant live news feed on a centre’s Facebook or Twitter page featuring all the latest developments and offers from retailers.

The idea is to create a content rich stream of news for shoppers, increasing interest, loyalty and traffic to both the website and the malls, promoting brand awareness and helping to connect with new customers.

Centre Radio CEO Daniel Graham, said: “It’s the first product for getting news, retail offers and fashion tips directly to a centre’s social media, taking the labour and stress out of updating it.

“Social media is all about the here and now but a lot of shopping centres don’t have the time or resources to update their feeds as often as they would like - even if a centre uses a marketing agency, they can’t sit there updating feeds all day long. We go out and scour the web, posting relevant news automatically onto your centre’s social media page.”

The feed is constantly monitored with all content vetted and checked before being posted and centre managers can choose how often they want to post each day.
