Giant Post-it note for Churchill Square

Published:  09 March, 2011

A Post-it note promotion for GCSE German catches the eye of shoppers at Churchill Square shopping centre in Brighton.

A giant Post-it note displaying the German translation of ‘shopping centre’ - das Einkaufszentrum - was placed above the centre entrance and was one of four notes posted on iconic building around the city.

The promotion is part of the Goethe-Institut’s campaign to encourage more young people to consider the short and long term benefits of selecting German at GCSE and did the trick in grabbing the attention of visitors.

Goethe-Institut worked with the London-based PR agency Band and Brown to come up with the innovative concept and with SpaceandPeople which organised the promotional space at Churchill Square.
