Unibox launch LED lighting division

Unibox have launched a specialist LED lighting division, Lumenal, which provides high quality LED display lighting as a flexible and energy efficient alternative to conventional lighting options.
The Lumenal product range includes spot, strip, track and down lights, adapted for a variety of applications, including alcove, signage, display case and overhead lighting.
In contrast to conventional forms of lighting, Lumenal’s LED lighting only emits visible light, avoiding problems resulting from exposure to ultra-violet (UV) and infrared (IR) light, such as the fading of display materials and merchandise and an unwanted rise in display temperature.
Lumenal fittings’ modular and compact nature offers a high degree of flexibility in terms of sizing and positioning, particularly beneficial for displays which undergo regular changes in stock and layout. Sleek LED light strips can be made to fit any length of shelf or display unit, thereby ensuring illumination of items across the whole of the length of the display.
The expected lifespan of LED lighting is in excess of 50,000 hours constant use, with no reduction in light output. This reliability and energy efficiency means that considerable savings can be made on maintenance and energy costs.
