New general manager at Grand Arcade

Grand Arcade, Cambridge, has announced the appointment of John O’Shea as general manager.

O’Shea boasts as impressive background in shopping centre and retail management having started his 18-year retail career at M&S. He was centre manager at Freeport Braintree for over six years and was twice named Manager of the Year at the SCEPTRE Awards.  

O'Shea will work across all disciplines including retailer relations, operations and marketing. He will also work closely with Grand Arcade's business partners, including John Lewis, Love Cambridge and the City and County Councils.

"Grand Arcade has enjoyed a great year and footfall figures indicate increasing numbers of people shopping at the centre," said O'Shea. "I look forward to working with the Grand Arcade team, all our retailers and business partners, to build on the success of the centre and this magnificent city.”
