Parkex programme revealed

Parkex 2011, Europe’s largest dedicated parking exhibition, which takes place between 29 – 31 March at the NEC in Birmingham, has revealed its programme.
The seminars aim to explore ideas about a wide range of issues related to parking management to give practical examples of best practice.
Speakers include Paul Slowey of the Blue Badge Fraud initiative who will give advice in counter-fraud techniques, Keiran Fitsall from the City of Westminster and Jonathan Reed from the NSL will discuss why customer service is key to the parking industry and David Peach, from The Parking Shop, will talk about vehicle guidance systems to manage the flow of cars in a car park.
Bill Butler, Parkex 2011 director, said: “Parkex’s success clearly shows that despite the budget cuts, the industry understands the importance of rallying together to promote new ideas and to examine opportunities for improvement.”
Among the exhibitors are the BPA, IceWatch, Huber Car Park Systems, NDI Recognition Systems and Amano.
