Retailers renew at the Ridings

Published:  15 February, 2011

Holland & Barrett and Clarks have renewed leases in Moorfield Real Estate Fund and Plus Shops' Ridings Centre in Wakefield

Holland & Barrett will now remain in its store, which is on the lower floor of the centre opposite Poundworld, after signing the ten year deal. Clarks has signed a new five year lease for its store.

Leigh Burnett at Plus Shops said the two deals indicated retailers’ continuing confidence in the Ridings, which saw more than 12.9 million shoppers visit in 2010. “We are pleased that both Holland and Barrett and Clarks have proved their commitment to the scheme by renewing their leases within The Ridings and we look forward to working with them in the future.”

The Ridings was represented by Kitchen La Frenais Morgan and Brassington Rowan. Holland & Barrett and Clarks acted on their own behalf.
