REALM invests in Freeport Talke revamp

Published:  24 January, 2011

Outlet manager REALM has announced a £2m package of remodeling and improvements at its Freeport Talke Outlet Centre, near Stoke On Trent, including the launch of a Nike Outlet

Set to anchor the renovation of a former supermarket at the centre, Nike will occupy 8,500 sq ft of the newly remodelled 25,000 sq ft space, leaving five new retail units providing up to 16,500 sq ft available for occupancy in 2011.

The launch of Nike follows the recent opening of Marks & Spencer and Gap Outlet The planned £2m project and includes further improvements to the centre including new signage and renovations to the malls.

Dan Mason, REALM's development director, said: “Nike is another great addition to the Freeport Talke mix and is set to be a major attraction for shoppers. The arrival has enabled us to remodel the former supermarket and undertake further physical and branding improvements to maximise the appeal of the centre to the excellent catchment and customer base.”
