Topshop will open at The Eastgate Shopping Centre in Inverness in the summer.
The fashion chain will move into the 8,500 sq ft unit in the upper level of Falcon Square mall - previously occupied by Zara. Topshop has signed a 10 year lease at the centre.
Sarah Kemp, senior asset manager at Grosvenor, said: “The arrival of Topshop to The Eastgate Shopping Centre is great news for customers and retailers alike. By attracting top names to the centre we are ensuring the very best retail offering for our customers.
“Eastgate is home to a number of popular high street brands and we are confident Topshop will be a welcome addition to the centre’s diverse retail mix as we continue to invest in the future of retail in Inverness.”
Jackie Cuddy, Eastgate centre manager, added: “This is a great start to 2011, and we look forward to the response Topshop will receive from customers.
“As the main shopping destination for people living across the Highlands and Islands, it is always good to see a top brand coming into the centre to add to the variety of retailers we already have.”
The Eastgate Centre is the Highlands biggest undercover shopping area. Last year, Eastgate introduced a number of new stores to the centre including branded fashion retailer Republic, upmarket jeweller Chisholm Hunter and gift store Past Times.
