Land Securities has appointed Kevin Duffy as centre director at Cabot Circus in Bristol.
Duffy will focus on further developing Bristol as one of the foremost retail destinations outside London.
Duffy, 44, brings extensive experience to the role, having worked in the retail and property industry for over 20 years. He has previously worked in Meadowhall, Sheffield, Liffey Valley, Dublin and most recently as project centre manager at the £1.4bn Westfield Stratford.
Kevin’s responsibilities will be to represent Cabot Circus in the region and to maintain relationships with key stakeholders, retailers and business development within the scheme, building on Cabot Circus’ reputation as the South West’s leading retail and leisure destination.
Duffy said: “I am delighted to accept the role of centre director at Cabot Circus, a development that has literally changed the face of Bristol City Centre. The chance of working with over 220 diverse retailers and living in such an exciting city, with natural assets like the waterfront coupled with a vibrant culture and community, was an opportunity I could not refuse.”
“I am very much looking forward to building on Bristol’s rising reputation in the retail market, and continuing the upward trend in footfall and sales that we have seen over the past year.”
Cabot Circus has recently signed 10 new tenants, bringing the centre to 97 per cent let.
Amongst the new lettings are Fenchurch, Pulp and Sanctuary Spa.
